Privacy Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Analytics Bharati Private Limited (“Analytics Bharati”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our website (analyticsbharati.com), our client portal, and the AB Portal mobile application (together, the “Services”). By using the Services, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

Analytics Bharati Private Limited is a data analytics and AI firm based in New Delhi, India. For any privacy-related question or request, contact us at info@analyticsbharati.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and improve the Services:

  • Enquiry details. When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), organisation, area of interest, and your message.
  • Client account details. If we set up a portal account for you, we store your name, organisation, and email address. Passwords are stored only as a one-way cryptographic hash — we never store or see your actual password.
  • Notification tokens. If you choose to enable notifications, your device provides a push token that we store solely to deliver notifications you have opted into. You can turn this off at any time.
  • Data we process on your behalf. To deliver our analytics and intelligence services, we process data on behalf of our clients — including data you provide to us and information compiled from publicly available and open sources. Data you provide remains your property; we act as a processor, use it only to deliver the agreed services, and do not repurpose it without your permission. We retain such data until you instruct us to delete it or the service agreement requires it, and the specific terms of ownership, confidentiality, and retention for each engagement are set out in the applicable service agreement.
  • Essential cookie. We set a single secure session cookie to keep you signed in. See “Cookies” below.

3. What we do NOT collect

We currently do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking technologies. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not use your data for advertising. If we introduce analytics or similar tools in future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your consent first.

4. How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiries and communicate with you about our Services.
  • To provide, secure, and maintain your portal access and the dashboards, reports, and documents within it.
  • To deliver notifications you have explicitly enabled.
  • To protect the Services against spam and abuse (for example, our contact form uses a privacy-respecting verification service to confirm submissions are genuine).

5. Cookies

We use a single, essential session cookie (abpl_session) that keeps you signed in to the portal. It is encrypted, and it is not used for tracking or advertising. We do not use analytics or marketing cookies. If you clear this cookie or log out, you will simply be signed out.

6. Third-party services

We rely on a small number of reputable service providers strictly to operate the Services, described here by function:

  • Secure cloud hosting — infrastructure located in India, where the Services and their data are stored.
  • Email — to send and receive messages, including responses to your enquiries.
  • Notification delivery — a third-party push service that delivers the app and browser notifications you have enabled.
  • Spam protection — a privacy-respecting service that verifies contact-form submissions to prevent abuse.
  • Connected data sources — where you link an external source (such as a spreadsheet or document folder), we access it solely to provide the Services.

Each provider processes data only as needed to perform its function, under its own privacy and security commitments. For security reasons we do not publish our specific vendors; they are available to clients on request under appropriate confidentiality.

7. Notifications

Notifications are strictly opt-in. You enable them from your portal settings and can disable them at any time, either from the same settings or from your device’s system settings. We send notifications only about events relevant to your account — such as a new report or document being made available to you.

8. How we store and protect your information

  • Data is hosted on secure servers located in India.
  • Access to the portal is protected by encrypted sessions; passwords are stored only as one-way hashes.
  • Access to client data is restricted to the client it belongs to and to authorised Analytics Bharati staff.
  • We maintain regular encrypted backups to protect against data loss.

No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Enquiry submissions are retained so we can follow up and maintain our records.

For data we process on behalf of clients — including analysis compiled from open sources — we retain it until the client instructs us to delete it or the applicable service agreement requires deletion. If you would like your enquiry data or account removed, contact us and we will act on your request where we are not legally required to retain it.

10. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw consent for notifications at any time. To make a request, email info@analyticsbharati.com and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and professionals and are not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated through the Services where appropriate.
